If Jesus submits to the Father as His God due to His human nature, why doesn't He also honor the Holy Spirit as God since the Holy Spirit is another member of the Trinity?

The Holy Spirit did not become Christ’s God at the Incarnation. Rather, it is the Father alone who became and continues to be the God of Christ, as evidenced in various scriptures. For instance, Jesus expresses His relationship with the Father in Psalm 22, stating, 'My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?' This indicates a unique relationship where the Father is recognized as God. Furthermore, the Bible consistently emphasizes the role of the Father in sending the Son into the world. John 3:16-17 clearly states that 'God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,' highlighting the Father's initiative in the mission of Christ. The Holy Spirit, while integral to Jesus' ministry, does not hold the same position of authority over Christ as the Father does. Additionally, verses like John 8:42 and John 10:36 reinforce that Jesus came from God and was sent by Him. This underscores the distinction between the roles of the Father and the Holy Spirit in the context of Jesus' incarnation and mission. Therefore, the Holy Spirit did not take on the role of Jesus' God, as it was the Father who maintained that relationship throughout Jesus' earthly life and continues to do so post-resurrection.
