Muhammad was certain of his salvation and was assured by Allah of his place in paradise.

The Quran explicitly states that Muhammad did not know what would happen to him or his followers, as seen in Surah 46:9. Additionally, authentic Hadiths reveal Muhammad's own admission of uncertainty regarding his eternal destiny, which is a significant concern for Muslims. If the prophet of Islam, who is viewed as the model of moral perfection, lacked certainty about his salvation, this casts doubt on the assurance that any Muslim can have regarding their own fate after death. In contrast, Christianity teaches that believers can have confidence in their salvation through faith in Jesus Christ, who offers eternal life to all who trust in Him. This assurance is rooted in the promises of Scripture, which affirm that salvation is a gift of grace, not dependent on personal merit or uncertainty.
