Muhammad is the most exalted of all of Allah’s creatures.

Muslims often assert that Muhammad holds the highest position among all of Allah's creatures, but the Quran itself contradicts this claim by emphasizing the exalted status of Jesus. In Surah 2:253, it states that Allah endowed Jesus with clear signs and strengthened him with the holy spirit, which indicates a level of honor not attributed to Muhammad. Furthermore, the Quran mentions that Allah preferred certain apostles over others, specifically naming Jesus and David, while Muhammad is notably absent from these distinctions. Additionally, the Quran refers to the family of Imran, which includes Mary, the mother of Jesus, as being chosen above all creatures (Surah 3:33-36). This selection underscores the significance of Jesus' lineage and his divine favor. The text also highlights that Mary and Jesus were uniquely protected from Satan, further elevating their status in Islamic tradition. Thus, rather than supporting the claim of Muhammad's unparalleled exaltation, the Quran's verses suggest that Jesus holds a position of greater honor. This is reinforced by the New Testament, which identifies Jesus as a descendant of David, linking him to the exalted figures mentioned in the Quran. Therefore, the assertion that Muhammad is the most exalted is not substantiated by the Quran itself, which instead recognizes Jesus' superior status among the prophets.
