Muslims believe that Muhammad was the final prophet and that he received all necessary revelations from Allah.

In the Quran, it is explicitly stated that Muhammad did not know the unseen, which is a significant limitation for any prophet. Verses such as Surah 72:25-28 highlight that Allah reveals the knowledge of the unseen only to a chosen messenger, and since Muhammad is excluded from this privilege, it raises questions about his prophetic status. Furthermore, other verses reinforce this idea by stating that Muhammad himself claimed he was merely a warner and did not possess divine knowledge (Surah 7:188). This contrasts sharply with the Christian belief that Jesus, as the Son of God, had full access to divine knowledge and authority. The superiority of Jesus over Muhammad is further supported by the Christian understanding of Jesus' divine nature and His role in salvation history, which is not paralleled in Islamic teachings about Muhammad.
