Moreover, the conjunction 'wa' used in the Quran to connect belief in Jesus and belief in Allah demonstrates a partnership that is not exclusive to Muhammad. This linguistic connection suggests that Jesus also plays a vital role in the understanding of monotheism in Islam. The Quranic narrative presents Jesus as a prophet with divine authority, performing miracles by Allah's leave, which further elevates his status. Thus, while Islamic sources may emphasize Muhammad's unique position, they cannot ignore the exaltation of Jesus within the same framework of Tawhid. Both figures are integral to Islamic belief, and the Quran's language supports the notion that Jesus is also a significant pillar of monotheism, deserving of respect and belief alongside Muhammad.
