Muhammad is a true prophet of God because he follows in the footsteps of previous prophets and confirms their messages.

Muhammad asserts that he is inspired in the same manner as the previous prophets, as seen in various verses from the Quran. However, the Christian doctrine emphasizes that Jesus is the culmination of God's revelation to humanity, referred to as the 'seal of the prophets.' This means that any subsequent prophet must align with the teachings of Jesus and the New Testament. The Bible explicitly states that Jesus is the one through whom God has set His seal, indicating that His message is the final authority. Furthermore, the New Testament warns that any prophet who contradicts the teachings of Christ is not to be accepted. Therefore, while Muhammad may claim to follow the prophets, his teachings do not align with the core message of the Gospel, which is centered on the death and resurrection of Jesus for the salvation of humanity.
