Terms of Service

Apologia Library & Apologia Defense · Last updated: April 2026

Acceptance of terms

By using the Apologia Defense mobile app or the Apologia Library website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app or website.

Description of service

Apologia Defense is a free debate preparation tool for Christian apologists. It provides access to a library of apologetics articles, Bible and Quran verse cross-references, structured argument cards, Quick Counter, Prepare Me, Live Debate, and review tools.

Content and accuracy

The articles, argument cards, and AI-generated responses are provided for educational and informational purposes only. They represent theological and apologetic perspectives and should not be taken as professional, legal, or pastoral advice.

The AI debate assistant generates responses based on the article library and may occasionally produce inaccurate information. Always verify verse references and theological claims independently.

Acceptable use

You agree to use the app and website only for lawful purposes. You may not:

  • Use the service to harass, threaten, or incite violence against any person or group
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the app
  • Use automated tools to scrape content or overload the service
  • Redistribute article content without attribution

AI usage limits

The AI features are subject to usage limits that may change over time. During the free phase, AI usage is capped to manage costs. We reserve the right to adjust these limits without notice.

Intellectual property

Articles and media in the library are authored by their respective contributors. The app interface, argument cards, and AI system prompts are the property of the Apologia Defense project. You may share individual articles and argument cards for personal and educational use with attribution.

Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI responses will be accurate.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Apologia Defense project and its contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to reliance on AI-generated content.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
