Furthermore, the prophet Isaiah proclaims that God, seeing no one capable of interceding for mankind, took it upon Himself to bring salvation, underscoring the unique role of God in redemption. The Scriptures consistently affirm that God alone has the authority to forgive sins, which is a central aspect of salvation, and since Jesus is identified as God in the New Testament, He is therefore the Savior who can offer redemption to humanity.
