Similarly, 1 Corinthians 1:2-3 highlights that the early church called upon the name of Jesus Christ as Lord, indicating their recognition of His authority. Furthermore, James 1:1 and Jude 1:1 also refer to Jesus as Lord, reinforcing the idea that the early Christians did not see a conflict between serving Jesus and serving God. This worship of Jesus as Lord contradicts the assertion that the disciples would have considered themselves Muslims in the sense of serving only Allah without recognizing Jesus' divine role.
