Isn't Jesus just the archangel Michael, a created being and not the eternal God?

Certain groups, such as Jehovah's Witnesses, assert that Jesus Christ is the archangel Michael, implying that He is a created being and not eternal. However, this belief contradicts the teachings of the Bible, which affirms that God the Father created all things through His Son, Jesus Christ. Colossians 1:16-17 explicitly states that 'by Him all things were created,' indicating that Jesus is not a creature but the Creator of all, including archangels like Michael. Furthermore, the Bible differentiates between Jesus and created beings. While Michael is described as 'one of the chief princes' (Daniel 10:13), Jesus is portrayed as 'Lord of all' (Acts 10:36) and 'head over every power and authority' (Colossians 2:10). This distinction highlights that Jesus holds a unique and supreme position over all spiritual beings, including archangels. Moreover, the New Testament emphasizes Jesus's divine nature and authority. Ephesians 1:19-23 declares that God raised Jesus from the dead and seated Him 'far above all rule and authority,' demonstrating His sovereignty over all creation. In contrast, Michael is merely one of many high-ranking angels, not the sovereign ruler of the universe. Thus, equating Jesus with Michael undermines His divine status and the core Christian belief in His eternal nature as God incarnate.
