The Quran teaches that all judgment belongs solely to Allah, as seen in verses like S. 6:63 and S. 40:12, which assert that no one shares in His judgment. However, the New Testament reveals that God has entrusted all judgment to Jesus Christ, as stated in John 5:22, which says, 'Moreover, the Father judges no one, but has entrusted all judgment to the Son.' This indicates that while Jesus is a judge, He does so as appointed by the Father, not as an equal to Allah. Furthermore, in Revelation 20:11-12, it is depicted that Jesus will judge the living and the dead, reinforcing His role as the ultimate judge in Christian belief. Thus, the claim that Jesus is like Allah in His role as judge misinterprets the biblical understanding of Jesus's authority, which is derived from His relationship with the Father.
