This event suggests that the divine protection claimed by the Quran is not absolute, as even the prophet could be misled. Furthermore, the fact that Satan, as a jinn, could influence Muhammad raises questions about the Quran's claim of divine authorship and infallibility. If the Quran is truly the word of God, it should be immune to such deceptions, which contradicts its own assertions about its uniqueness and divine origin.
